August 11 7pm - - Settle in and Evening Fire - breakfast at 8:30 am August 12 10am Program Starts 10am-noon Fire by friction (couples to accomplish skill, not individuals) noon-1pm Lunch 1pm-5pm Interprative hike - topics: rules and methods of survival (food, water, shelter, fire), flora for healing, building and tool making. 6pm-7pm Dinner 7pm-9pm Massage oil making - you will take home a bottle 9pm Evening Fire August 13 9am Breakfast 10am - noon Knots and Lashings (couples work together) Noon - 1pm Lunch 1pm - 3pm Flint-knapping (stone knife making) - you will go home with a stone knife you have made1 3pm-4pm Pack and prepare for home 4pm Goodbyes and departure Food will be Canadiana-paleo based, and dietary needs will be considered. Accommodations will be Tee-pee's, or Trappers Cabins, or a group campsite. Be prepared to have fun and bond with your partner, and learn a ton about traditional sustainability and how you can enrich your life daily!!
